The engine has undergone a complete transformation over the years. It started life as a 2.7l, which I then swapped for a 3.2l carerra and now has been completely stripped, redesigned and built into 3.5l with MoTec engine management. Here you find a selection of photo's taken at various stages of the engine build. Click on the engine photo view the build programme.

Here's how the engine looks today. This picture was taken just after the build was finished and ready to put into the car. The air filters are removed to show off the aluminum trumpets of the throttle bodies.

My target was to build a high powered naturally aspirated engine delivering lots or torques and high levels of throttle response. Now that the engine is in the car, I can safely say that's she's delivered.

In summary, the engine is built from 3.5l Mahle pistons and barrels, jenvey throttle bodies, custom stainless exhaust, twin spark ignition, GTII camshafts all controlled by a MoTec M48 pro engine management system.
