£48:50 for an MOT and you don't even get a certificate any more, just a plain printed
sheet of A4. Computerisation! Hu.

Yup, no certs any more. Its due to just about everything being on database`s these days, m.o.t, tax, dvla, insurance the lot are all connected now.
Glad I kept my old certs for the collection, the only thing is though if buying a car CHECK via the database if its really got an mot as these new printed paper sheets are damm easy to copy/alter so look real to the eye. They are litterly just print on standard printer paper. |
