New drive shaft gaitor, and I had to change the LED side light bulbs as they are no longer legal
(not E rated)

That's not so bad.  Nothing expensive or difficult anyway.

Shame about the LED's.  I prefer them to normal tungset bulbs.  Much brighter!

£48:50 for an MOT and you don't even get a certificate any more, just a plain printed
sheet of A4. Computerisation!

Yup, no certs any more. Its due to just about everything being on database`s these days, m.o.t, tax, dvla,insurance the lot are all connected now.

Glad I kept my old certs for the collection,

the only thing is though if buying a car CHECK via the database if its really got an mot as these new printed paper sheets are damm easy to copy/alter so look real to the eye. They are litterly just print on standard printer paper. ;)
