Well my new system arrived, full stainless dansk. Only took 4 hours start to finish to remove and replace. Dreaded taking the heat excahngers off as read so many scare stories about shearing the studs off the heads. Two were a bit tight but all came off ok. I did find quite a few tell tale marks of leaks on the heat exchanger to head gaskets. It all fitted ok but the rear silencer took a bit of aligning. Looks pretty good with its bigger tail pipe. And I now have cabin heat for the first time, Yeahhhh. One of the old heat exchangers and the rear silencer seam ok so I think I will give a clean and see if I can get a couple of quid for them.

My tt exhaust was noise tested at 99db at Brands Hatch yesterday, so room for a bit more loudness ;)

:happy013:  :happy013:  :happy013: I know mark I know, I need to get the mrs to train me. As soon as I get sorted I will take some pics and get them posted. I dont think my new system is particually loud compared to the old one, but thats prob because the old one leaked, a lot too as I have found out.
