I bought a set of 964 Calipers last week off E-bay,
Just refurbished the fronts, new Porsche Piston and Seal kits fitted.
Ready to go on.
I'll do the rears next week.

No they don't, as the mounting hole spacing if different, although they can be modified or you buy an adapter block.
The braking power is increased as they are 4 pot calipers, as opposed to two pots, and the 964 discs are 3000mm.

Nice one Hu.  Thats a second second set of calipers you refurbished  :agree:

Do they fit under the fuchs OK?  Do the discs (front and Rear) go straight on?  How do youm deal with the rear handbrake or does it all stay the same?

How's that Knee healing up Hu.  Has it allowed you to get these calipers done?

As it was such a nice sunny day, I finally got 'Round To It'
and fitted these:
Easy job, just needed new brake pipes, as the originals are too short, bled through easily
with Motul RB600.
After Spa I wondered if it would be worth while doing this conversion, as I was quite happy
with the standard brakes after numerous laps.
I have to say that now I have bedded in the pads, the stopping power is hugely better than
the standard 3.2 system. There is still good 'feel' from the brake pedal, it really gives you
confidence to brake later for corners, they really pull you up.
Just the rears to do now.

They look really good Hu.

- Whats the difference in spec over te 3.2 ones?
- Did you stay with the 3.2 disccs?
- Is the master cylinder the same or upgraded?
- Were the calipers a straight swap (apart from the brake lines)?

Great work!
